Project: "Influence of mating status on reproductive behaviour in field cricket: Gryllodes sigillatus"
- Designed and conducted behavioural experiments on field crickets to examine mating status effects on reproductive output.
- Performed statistical analysis of behavioural data and prepared research presentations.
- Strengthened expertise in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific communication.
Organic Synthesis Lab
Organic Synthesis Laboratory
Project: "Organic synthesis of thiophene derivatives using domino reactions"
- Optimized reaction conditions to achieve 85% yield in thiophene derivative synthesis.
- Performed purification and NMR characterization of synthesized compounds.
- Strengthened skills in experimental design, data analysis, and chemical documentation.
Note
I was offered a summer internship at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati in summer 2025. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I was unable to attend and continued my research at NISER instead.
